As a part of efforts to improve the county's roads, crews from Shropshire Council and its contractor Kier are out throughout the county each day tackling potholes in lots of ways.
strategies used include jet-patching using the county's 4 Roadmaster motors, Texpatching [see notes] on the town centres and residential areas; and patching the use of the brand new Mulithog street planner.
Steve Charmley, Shropshire Council's cabinet member for highways, stated: "As I've stated earlier than, lots of our roads are in poor condition and in want of growth. i exploit the county's roads and that i've seen for myself the large variety of potholes and other defects. certainly, i was recently in north east Shropshire – and this week will seek advice from websites in south Shropshire – to peer the con siderations first-hand, and to see the work it's being conducted to improve our roads.
