PENDLE MP Andrew Stephenson has appealed to his parts in West Craven to assist create a Covid memorial quilt.
The quilt should be made of patchwork blocks of contributing parliamentary constituencies and as soon as finished will trip around the nation.
Quilters of all capabilities can take half in the task, which is aimed at displaying the struggles that people have faced within the pandemic.
Mr Stephenson mentioned: "The struggles of this pandemic have proven what in reality concerns to all and sundry: family unit, pals and group. whilst reflecting we ought to also have fun the tough work and determination from our key people, NHS, neighbours and strangers who stepped as much as support us in our time of need.
"The Pendle patch in the Covid quilt is an opportunity for us to demonstrate our thanks to all people that helped. I inspire people of all ranges and expertise to get stitching.
"i can best submit one block but, if I do obtain a huge variety of submissions, i will be able to seem to create a Pendle Memorial Quilt too, to be displayed in the community."
Squares should still measure12 inches via 12 inches, ideally cotton or calico and with a half inch border. people are asked to scan with embroidery, cloth paint, or another medium, and to write a couple of explanatory sentences.
completed squares should still be sent to Mr Stephenson's constituency workplace at 9 cross road, Nelson, BB9 7EN.
